Xavier Buysé Mayench


Biography


With a Master’s in Business Management and another in Finance, he began his career in the financial industry, working for Winterthur Insurance and Deutsche Bank. In 1995, he transitioned to the telecommunications and internet sector, where he played a key role in launching the first internet service provider (ISP) in Spain and the country’s third mobile operator. As CEO of Grupo Godó, one of Spain’s leading media groups based in Barcelona, he co-founded Adsmedia, which became the largest mobile marketing company in Latin America and Hispanic markets. Adsmedia provided innovative marketing and technology solutions to mobile operators, the finance, and insurance sectors, healthcare, media companies, app developers, and global brands.

In 2017 and 2019, he expanded his entrepreneurial journey by creating and participating in various companies focused on predictive marketing models, machine learning, big data, and artificial intelligence. Among them are iClient Data, focused on the FMCG industry; Medline Healthcare, oriented towards the healthcare sector; and SCOOP, a predictive mobile platform powered by big data and machine learning, with a presence in Europe and the Americas.

His expertise includes telecommunications, actuarial finance and insurance, mobile marketing and advertising, digital and interactive marketing, healthcare, and international business expansion.
