María Cristina Fernández Laso


PhD in Prehistory, with a extraordinary award from the Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona. Accredited by the ANECA as a private university professor and hired doctor. Currently she works as a professor at ESERP, in the Tourism University Degree programme, and at the International University of La Rioja in the Master of Secondary School Teacher Training. Archaeologist specialised in zooarchaeology, trained as part of the Research Team of the Atapuerca site (Burgos), of which she was a member of until 2010; she has worked in the Atapuerca Foundation, Burgos, in the Regional Archaeological Museum, Madrid, and in the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution, Tarragona. She has worked in many archaeological excavations, the latest being the house of Diana Arcaizante in Pompey (Italy).
