A) Students coming from educational systems in member states of the European Union or other states that have signed international agreements of reciprocity, or those students who are studying at an International Baccalaureate programme
1. Obtain the Accreditation for access to university degrees issued by the National University of Distance Education (UNED). The official Spanish University Entrance Exam (“Selectividad” in Spanish) does not need to be taken
Students coming from educational systems in member countries of the European Union can begin their university degree studies in Catalonia under the same conditions as students who have passed the university entrance exams.
They must request the admission credential for access to university degrees at the UNEDasiss centre.

B) Students coming from foreign educational systems with studies that are equivalent to an upper secondary school certificate, who are citizens of a member state of the European Union and who are residents in Spain.
1. Validation of the studies taken
These students must validate their studies that are the equivalent to an upper secondary school certificate. You can consult all the information regarding the validation of these degrees on the Department of Education’s website:
2. Specific Competency Exams (PCE)
Once the validation is obtained, the student must take the official Spanish University Entrance Exam organised by the National University of Distance Education (UNED).

C) Students coming from educational systems of non-EU countries or from other States with which no international agreements of reciprocity have been signed, who are not citizens of a member state of the European Union and who are not residents of Spain
1.Validation of the studies taken
These students must validate their studies that are the equivalent to an upper secondary school certificate, and will be able to access the university degrees without the need to take the official Spanish University Entrance Exam (“Selectividad” in Spanish).
